Refund policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Volta. If you are not happy with your product, please read our return and refund policy below:

Return and Exchange Policy

Returns:

  • You have 30 days from the date of receipt to return your item.
  • Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, and with all original packaging intact.
  • The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Refunds:

  • Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 1-2 business days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • In compliance with Portuguese law (Decree-Law No. 24/2014), the refund will be processed within a maximum of 14 days from the date the consumer communicates their decision to withdraw from the purchase.

Exchanges:

  • If you need to exchange an item, please contact us with the details of the product you wish to exchange. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs and any difference in price.

Damaged or Defective Items:

  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage or defect. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

Legal Guarantee:

All products sold are covered by a 2-year legal guarantee of conformity, as stipulated by Portuguese law (Decree-Law No. 84/2021). If your product has any defect or lack of conformity, please contact us at info@volta-travelco.com for assistance.

How to Initiate a Return:

  1. Contact us at info@volta-travelco.com to initiate a return.
  2. Pack your item securely and include your proof of purchase.
  3. Ship the item back to us at the address provided.

Important Note:

  • In accordance with the Right of Withdrawal in force in the European Union, you are entitled to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the item, without providing any justification. If you choose to exercise this right, your refund will be processed after the item is returned, following the criteria described above.
